I noticed the same thing too.
Not to mention, the constant update (band-aids?) that are being applied to fix who-knows-what? I've never seen so many updates for a catalog/launchpad app that just checks whether you have a license, your cloud storage and what Adobe apps you have installed. All I want is to launch my Adobe app, I do not need this bloated middle man to help me do it.

@Michael Chaize - that's the problem. You mention in one sentence, "...CC Library process, CCX, CoreSync...etc".
That's too many sub processes loaded into the one app. All I want to do is use Adobe Acrobat. I do not need all these sub processes you speak of to view/edit PDFs right? I don't even have Photoshop, Illustrator, and any other Adobe app installed. I also do not even use Adobe Cloud 95% of the time. Perhaps only fire up those subprocesses when I actually do use them?
There must be a better way to architect this bloated launchpad. Surely.
