Hide Creative Cloud on the Windows Explorer
I don't use Creative Cloud to store files through Windows Explorer, so having it taking space on the left pane is bothersome. Right now I use a Registry hack to get rid of it: My Computer\HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Classes\CLSID{0E270DAA-1BE6-48F2-AC49-F4F1D1A9AAC4}\System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree = 0
But every time the Creative Cloud app (and aparently any other Adobe app)
updated, it sets the value back to 1 and it shows on Explorer again... can we have a user friendly option to disable this? And one that sticks between app updates?
Thanks!

The Unpin application definitely doesn't work anymore. Please just add a checkbox in the application settings.

Hi Michael,
It appears that the solution in the help article that you linked no longer works. I have the unPinCCF entry in my registry, but this entry keeps showing up anyway. I had to manually change the key noted in Luis' original post above to get rid of CC Files.

It is not enough they force us to use useless "Creative Cloud" app to use single free app, they keep adding this directory to navigation pane, and "Navigation Manager for Creative Cloud" to app list on Windows 10.

The way that I eventually solved this permanently was to make that registry key read-only, though I agree this should be easier.

Exactly CC should be fully customizable, this is just one example

Hi Luis,
we have an article about this here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/remove-cc-files-folder-shortcut-navigation-panel.htmlI agree with your feedback as it comes back every time we update the application. We'll add your feature request to our backlog. It could be a preference in CC Desktop: show or hide the shortcut in the File Explorer.
