Creative Cloud Desktop Home Screen is too much screen real estate
This window is far too big and intrusive - it was far far far better using a thin window - you can still get all your little icons in - the window now takes up over 75% of my screen. And the apps are all spread out - it is much neater and easier to use when the Apps are listed as they were before.

It is not only to big. It just gets in front of each app as long as it starts and you can not bring it to the back with using the icons on the upper right side or bringing something other to the front because it always pops up again during loading. I hate it.
Extremely poor design. It's too huge and too bright. The large banner graphic at the top is serves no purpose. This is not professional design.
This is most-definitely not a pro-user approach. It might be helpful for new beginner clients. But as a pro-user I want to perform an update as fast and with as many clicks as possible. Before having just the menu bar it used to take two clicks. Count yourself, how many it takes now.
In addition to allowing us to toggle an icon-only view and arranging the apps in our preferred order, I would love it if we could dismiss the huge ad at the top of each section. I get that it's "pretty" and whatever, but I already use the tools. I don't need "Welcome to Creative Cloud" taking up the majority of my Creative Cloud app. Please let me dismiss it and get back real estate. The launcher is not the most important thing, getting to my programs is.

The new window interface is horrible. Why was the quick-to-access drop down menu disabled?

That's not really a solution to the problem though is it - it's just searching for the app - which you shouldn't have to do with a good UI - it should be customisable as everyone uses different apps and requires quick access - and the solution to search does not resolve the massive waste of screen real estate. It's too clunky.
I liked it better when you could attach it to the menu Bar at the top. It was nice to be able to start a Stock Photos search from that window as well. Bring it back the option to have it attached. This window is way to bulky.

That's the point really, you shouldn't have to search, it should be customisable. Way too big and not easy to use. Search function for rhis app proves its a poor UI.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on the new CC Desktop Application.
You can use the search feature to find apps or categories listing like "Photography" to easily find your apps.
