Separate App and Configuration packages. Provide PKG and MSI Installers for ALL Adobe CC applications!
What I truly desire is for Adobe to provide strictly independent installers for EACH application in BOTH formats for BOTH major operating systems, ex. Photoshop 2021 gets BOTH an official MSI for Windows and ALSO get an official PKG for macOS. I also want these to be pre-zippped, with checksums published (sha256) and fully available PUBLICLY from a CDN endpoint, i.e. https://downloads.adobe.com/bin/win/photoshop2021.4.19.win.zip
I want to be able to use the existing Admin Console workflow to simply generate a configuration/activation only package allowing me to specify options (Named-User or Shared Device) for deployment such as "Allow Non-Admins to install/update apps", or "Enable Remote Update Manager".

WE NEED NATIVE PACKAGE FILES! Adobe has become the bane of my existence in trying to manage and deploy to all of our macs (2000+ machines). Please also make RUM capable of doing major updates. The size of a full installer is so large that it takes 30+ minutes just to download before install and I have a hard time scripting it because it immediately fails if there is even the tiniest blip in the download.

This has severely affected me this month because I updated CC Desktop to 5.x. My previous settings to keep older versions of the software was changed upon update *WITHOUT* my interaction. I lost access to older versions of multiple applications.
I have waited for two weeks for support from the Adobe Support Center who told me that the only versions they can provide me are whole-number versions, (e.g. 21.0, 22.0, 23.0). Apparently this applies to both individual and enterprise users. Adobe provides no legal means of obtaining any revisions.
According to the support tech I spoke to, this policy has been in place for several years! I have no option but to turn off auto-update and constant back-ups of the software that I pay for. This is an unacceptable situation and I am strongly considering abandoning the entire adobe ecosystem.

+1000 for native .pkg files — ditch the bespoke installers and the blackbox "Running package scripts...".

Here is my dream for Adobe deployment:
Abode should build and publish generic flat packages (true Apple packages) for all adobe apps and keep them updated. See Microsoft Office as the great example here: https://macadmins.software
This would allow us admins to automate the download and import into our management systems with AutoPkg and greatly reduce the amount of time we spend dealing with Adobe updates.
Allow us to manage the settings (Disable self-service install, enable file syncing, enable RUM, etc.) of the Creative Cloud Desktop App with a configuration profile. This way we can download a generic package of the CCDA and configure the options we want with a mobileconfig pushed from our MDM.
Adobe also needs to release all apps as Universal as quickly as possible so we don't have to deal with multiple version for different architectures.
