Download throttler required
Hi there,
Creative Clouds download facility needs a bandwidth throttler. When I am updating CC applications, my Internet link slows down so much that it becomes unusably slow until the updates finish.
Sometimes speed is not of the essence, getting other work done while updates happen in the background is.
I would suggest a slider that allows you to limit the bandwidth usage from 0-100% or some such.

Like the Anonymous commenter already said, there is only the ability to change the FILE SYNC speed, which is clearly not affecting the App updates/installs. I know--I have those settings set to the lowest 25% setting, yet task manager is clearly showing that despite having a 4k video download from YouTube at the same time, the AdobeCC app is causing the video and other programs to timeout since there's no bandwidth remaining.

You do realize "sync" speed has nothing to do with the install/download, right? That setting does not change download speed. Literally asking for that. Same thing as the sync settings, but able to control the download speed, that's what OP is asking for. -
Hi, you should be able to adjust the bandwidth throttle inside of CCD already. Please check Preferences > Syncing and you can adjust upload and download speed.

Additionally, being able to throttle updates based on time of day (e.g. perform updates outside of business hours, overnight) would be great.

I have this same problem and it's infuriating, Adobe CC installer is the only program that causes this problem for me and I don't know why.
Please let us adjust the max speed of the download.
