Mine does the same thing using color match after the update. Clicking comparison view causes a single view across a doubled stretched frame and is locked at 1:43. I lost an hour's worth of tedious edits. It is not my machine. I'm running an MSI Titan G80 with 64GB RAM, a 1TB NVME working drive and a 1TB SSD backup. I have 6 redundant backup files (3 on each drive) and they all do this identical maddening lock up since the update. Infuriating!
