Stop saturating internet connection
This app is like a virus. It hogs all the bandwidth for the entire company and there is no way to limit it. If we try throttling it at the network level it just starts opening more and more sockets. If we select the slowest bandwidth setting (25%) it still takes 100% of the available bandwidth because it doesn't have any way to know how much bandwidth is actually available. Please limit the number of connections it will open and let us set hard speed caps for download/upload for updating the applications.
I have hundreds of applications on my computer that do updates and downloads, including game launchers like Steam and Epic, and NONE of them behave like CC does, and completely monopolize the computer's bandwidth like some sort of virus. I don't know how Windows even allows an app to behave like this. Adobe should be ashamed of having their app behave so blatantly against common standards. Just let your downloads behave like millions of other apps do! No one else does this. WTF is your problem Adobe?
Same problem. Even the CC app itself slows down to a crawl and takes ages to sync and update. I tried contacting support but they couldn't come up with a solution other than to find a better connection, which is unacceptable cause my connection is quite fine with everything else.
There is too much latency and so many crash with login asked every time its a shame for a buisness application in 2020 !!!
Same problems here - we have a decent FTTP internet connection & CC Desktop updates use all of the bandwidth & reduce the internet connection to barely a crawl - can it be capped to reduce such impact?
