new creative cloud app is slow and laggy
Michael, it may be either your Proxy settings or a VPN is blocking. Try going to Settings-Network-Advanced-Proxy. Make sure nothing is checked. If SOCKS is checked, uncheck it. That will mess with the CC update and stop the update process. -Save settings when done. Good Luck!

I have been trying all day to update Photoshop via the CC Desktop app, but it always fails somewhere between 10% and 25% of the way through, with the error code 113. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection (it works fine with everything else). I tried uninstalling PS in the hope that a full re-install, insteda of an update, might work, but that failed too. So now I have no access to PS.

Agree, probably because of the 'trash' user interface, it would be nice if they just keep the 'list' style catalog.
Is there any particular reason, Adobe, that you are still not capable of producing a Creative Cloud desktop application (Windows) that will actually launch? Because for several YEARS now, you have to "repair" i.e. reinstall the whole thing every now and then.
I am curious. Is it incompetence?
Literally had to buy Affinity Photo for quick image edits (even though it has missing features)
Photoshop lags every time you start it, Cloud app runs dozens of CPU & Memory eating services in the background.
My creative cloud will not update, very slow and lags, then says it can not update. I pay over $80 a month for the Creative Cloud, use this for my freelance work, very disappointed with Creative Cloud and there has been too many issues with it. I see many comments below with many others having issues as well, especially with updates. We are all paying a good amount of money for these apps, many of us use these apps and the cloud for our work, this is not good. Is Adobe going to does something about this.
The same problem after the lasts update, on enough strong PC system, I also have problems (actually I have three different systems and all have similar problems. If I leave the synchronization process in the background working start annoying lags.
Need to switch synchronization to off, only after you can normally work...
Of course, is possible that problems come from Windows 10 updates, but anyway, all those must be fixed.
The same, problem when loading Photoshop, when the program is running and you see options "Open document and so on..." - the program is freeze and needs to wait about a minute.

Updates to the creative cloud on my PC are too frequent atleast daily basis! LOL! My PC just just starts to crawl while the CC is updating! I can understand that my PC is old one Core2Duo with 8 GB RAM, 256GB SSD which runs all other apps as desired, but CC is playing mischief!
Creative Cloud gets hung up at 29% when updating. I can not update any of my apps without this being updated first. When I try to repair or uninstall to reinstall (either process unacceptable) I get a error message code 81- another installer is currently running and must be closed before installing...
Adobe does not give instructions how to get around that!
I am so sick of this issue. I feel like my computer is being held *******.
Is there a way to make the SUPER HELPFUL and NOT AT ALL ANNOYING background processes (that are much bigger than the actual programs I'm running) run even bigger? It's currently taking up 100.1% of my CPU, I bet we can go bigger. Can we get it up to 110 or 115%? It's not draining my laptop battery fast enough…

My performance is especially slow when also using Photo Mechanic concurrent with Lightroom. There appear to be frequent memory conflicts causing instability.
The creative cloud drains so many system resources through multiple 'background processes' even when Adobe programs are not even open.
I think it is time I find another photo editing program that doesn't contain bloatware background applications
preferences couldn't be set upon install; not even sure it completed installation as the program hasn't opened properly since installing. so I haven't been able to fully open the app in order to access settings and tell it not to launch with my computer. it has slowed other programs to a stall and after several hours after reboot still hasn't loaded fully. took forever to even post this comment because you have to check your email before it will post, and my browser is really slow. unacceptable for a paid service!!!
모든 앱이 어제부터 열리지 않아요.
다시 설치해도 마찬가지이고 방법을 모르겠어요.
There are Alternatives. The Products from Adobe are not bad, just the Download Server or Firewall Settings. And they seem not to care about this problem. I got all my money back, because of this problems and I’m no Adobe customer anymore. Talk with the Apple Support and point them to this thread and they will give you a refund. And some day they will look into the problem and change their Firewall settings. A network admin knows, about what I’m talking and how to solve the problem.
I've read all the comments and the same problem for all. I am experiencing the same problems. I keep trying to update my apps and without any luck. I find this totally unacceptable, adobe is a theft we pay our subscriptions and getting the service we paid for in return. I don't like being made a fool of. I have owned my own business for over 45 years. I would not still be in business today if I treated my customers like we are being treated. There are other alternatives for your products and I will be looking into those soon if these issues are not resolved in the near future. Maybe working on your download servers instead of working on updating your products. The best product in the world is no good unless you can get it to your customer.
All I want to do is use PS why is it not letting me do this? I've paid my bill what's going on. Unacceptable.
Can't believe how slow CC is. Been trying to install photoshop for several days now. What is going on?

Cannot download latest version of PhotoShop for the Mac (22.0.1) even though I've tried 5 times over the past 2 days!

Schade eigentlich.
Wer 3D möchte kann doch was anderes benutzen. Das können andere Programme besser.
Da ich überwiegend Illustrator und InDesign verwende.
Kann ich mir jetzt zusätzlich noch einen neuen Rechner kaufen.
Danke, weiter so und ihr habt bald einen Kunden weniger.
