list of changes + version history with release date
Now it's not obvious when an app was updated, what new features it has and how they work (even no link to "what's new" page).

Separate or Clearly label "update" vs. "upgrade".
Update keeps your current App version is up-to-date.
Upgrade is changing entire App Version. -

I miss the Butterfly button. I'm not sure what it was called, but it made mandalas and different designs. Will we be getting that back? It made the perfect snowflakes, and here I am on Christmas Eve, just after I updated, and I don't have it to make my special Christmas gift tags. Is there some other way to get it back, if you are no longer going to privide it?

Exactly my suggestion. It's extremely helpful to know what is new in the app for several reasons:
1) To know if I should update immediately, for a specific feature.
2) To look through old version updates, to learn about features that I didn't realize you'd added.I'm all-in on my Adobe apps, and one of the reasons is that you create new, useful features often without being asked. Let us know what you've worked so *******!

Yes, definitely. Version, release date, and link to changes. Simple stuff.

Yes, this was my feedback as well. Release date (not only version number), maybe local update date, and link to what's new. All this makes it easier to for example test out new feature as they arrive.
